Santa's Pantry sets up at University Park Mall trying collect donations for Northern Indiana Food Bank Santa's Shoppers Pay It Forward at Borders Over $400 in gifts given away at "Deuel Project" in 2009 Ice skate with Santa for food night in 2009 Over 200 Christmas banks were made for needy children Past Activities Christmas in July at Brown Mackie college raises over 1000 pounds of food in July 2009 for food pantries in South Bend Pay It Forward Festival. Over 500 in attendance! Our annual car wash helps people in the community Fill a Classroom food drive brought in over one ton of food. Awesome! "Skate for food" night brings in over 100 pounds of food. Thank you! Local author Karen Bachert donates proceeds from her book signing to the Northern Indiana Food Bank and local food pantries Santas Pantry raised over 500 pounds of food at the Expo for Women in March 2009 Book drive brings in over 1700 books for the unemployed! Several Christmas cards were made and distributed at local nursing homes in 2009 Several free trick or treat bags given to children 1000 Crayons donated to Elkhart schools in 2009 Over 300 children visit Santa during our Deuel Project in 2009
