It is our goal to promote the Pay It Forward Movement in the michiana area and eventually nationwide. There are many ways to get involved. We are always looking for volunteers to: Help plan and organize food, toy and clothing drives Children to help raise crayon donations for other children Help plant gardens, donate seeds or plants, and donate land for new gardens Help with our Spring clean up for seniors Participate in our "homeless night" Help return letters from Santa Help with our annual "Deuel Project" Help recruit new volunteers Help in finding organizations to let us share about the Pay it Forward Movement Helping with our Niles Haunted House fundraiser Helping to read at nursing homes Help with festivals and events And much more! We are also always looking for new ideas. For instance, we had a local author approach us that wanted to help the community but wasn't sure who or how. She now has started her own group Talents for Giving and they travel Michiana selling their books and donating proceeds to non-profit organizations.
